Social media is an important part of any marketing strategy today, and the benefits of using social media are so great that anyone who does not use this economic resource is missing out on a phenomenal marketing opportunity. It’s easy to understand that social media marketing is a key element to marketing success, and many marketers use this platform to understand a company’s growth potential.
Social media marketing is an important aspect of digital marketing and billions of people are taking advantage of that for reaching out to the wider audience worldwide. And if you don’t take advantage of this lucrative resource, you are missing out on an incredible marketing opportunity as it will make it easier to spread your product and your mission.
However, some of these professionals are not sure what tactics to use and how effective they are. According to the Social Media Examiner, about 96% of marketers are currently involved in social media marketing, but 85% of participants are unsure which tools are better. With our help, we reduce confusion by explaining in detail the benefits of using social media to promote your business. About 90% of marketers said that social networks have attracted the attention of their company, which is just one of its many benefits.
3 Potential Benefits Of Social Media Marketing
1. You Get To Tell Your Story
Being online as a company on a social forum, such as Facebook or Instagram, is a great way to interact with your audience and interact with them on a personal level. This allows you to tell your story to all your followers and inspire them to your successes or past failures.
Social media is a place where communicating with your audience gives you more options and helps you understand your audience better. Your customers can get to know you and interact with your stories on a more personal level, which is what you need as an entrepreneur in this digital world.
People who don’t know you or your business may be interested in learning how to build your business. This way, you can use these posts to let the brand know how much you have worked hard to make your dreams come true. It gives your brand more meaning and customers like it more when they see the reality of the company. To hear your story and spread it faster, work on your content to impress your audience.
2. Higher Conversion Rates
More visibility gives your company more conversion opportunities. Any blog post, image, video, or comment can drive visitors to your company’s website and drive traffic. Social media marketing enables your company to make a positive impression through the human factor. When brands are interactive, sharing content, commenting, and posting status on social media, that embodies the brand. People prefer to trade with other people than with companies.
More than 51% of retailers said that the time it took to build a relationship with consumers had a positive effect on sales. The better you impress a visitor, the more likely they are to think about your business when there is a need for your product or service. Studies have also shown that the conversion rate of leads is 100% higher on social networks than on outbound marketing. Through the integration of role based price for WooCommerce, many brands give discounts and coupons to their potential customers, just to engage them with their brands.
Oftentimes, when a brand is interactive online, consumers who review their brand accounts completely rely on the trust in your company. People use social media platforms to connect with their friends, family, and their communities. Since people are already talking, why not add your brand to it? They are more likely to mention your brand in a conversation with a friend when they need your product or service and provide general social proof of their quality to your business.
According to Social Media Examiner, about 66% of marketers saw the benefits of creating potential customers if they used social networking platforms at least 6 hours a week. If you put your brand in an atmosphere where people share, like, and talk, you can only convert existing traffic.
3. Learn About Your Competitors
It is available to everyone for all company profiles on all social media. As a business owner, this can be your chance to get to know your competitor better and understand the strategies they are using to engage their viewers. You can see the content they post on their social media profiles and rate which posts are performing best.
Once you’ve analyzed your competitor’s profile and researched all the questions their audience is asking, it’s time to include those questions in your digital marketing strategy. Review their posts, banner images with the WooCommerce banner images plugin, comment section, and interactions with your audience. Read questions from your audience and see how you as a company can answer those questions.
Learn more about how well informed the audience is and how well informed your audience is. Based on these comparisons, you can better answer these questions and make yourself and your audience aware of some things that you didn’t know about before. Study customer service, compare it to yours, and analyze how you can improve it.
Social media marketing has its advantages. So if your business doesn’t already have a compatible profile, create one! Enter your business information and post interesting content to attract subscribers. As mentioned earlier, ask people associated with your business to like and share your page to create your profile.
With constant updates, the right social media marketing strategy will result in more traffic, better SEO, higher conversion rates, more brand loyalty, and more. There is little or no reason not to include social media in your marketing strategy. Since it is so inexpensive, there is nothing to lose. Chances are, your competitors are already on social media. So don’t let them take over your leads. The sooner you start, the sooner you will see your business grow.3
Have you discovered the concept of a pillar page and want to start writing your page? No rush, we give you 9 tips to implement so that your content is ultra-powerful!
Why create a pillar page?
The pillar page, also known as the pillar page, is a concept strongly inspired by the techniques of “semantic cocoons” used for many years in SEO. This long and very comprehensive landing page covers the entirety of a visitor’s request. So this is very important content on a website. And this for various reasons:
Improve your SEO
The pillar page is a major asset for your SEO. You must develop your website’s pillar page according to SEO policies. It is built around a flagship keyword related to your industry, and a whole myriad of related terms. It will therefore bring you highly qualified traffic from Google, thanks to these keywords judiciously placed in its editorial content. The pillar page is designed according to the semantic cocoon method, this means that all the themes related to this main keyword will be the subject of an internal mesh on this page. Google particularly appreciates web pages built in this way (according to “topic clusters”) because it considers them to be very relevant to the Internet user.
Demonstrate your expertise
If this type of page appeals to search engines, Internet users like it even more! Indeed, with this very detailed content and pointing to other even more detailed content, you can cover the subject in a very complete way. The reader will therefore find all the information he wishes to have. This will therefore position you as an expert in your field. No doubt the Internet user will be impressed by these pages!
But a pillar page is also content designed for conversion! After having attracted the Internet user, having convinced him of your expertise, he will have to be transformed into a lead. Nothing could be easier: you have to add a download form for high value-added content, for example, a white paper. The pillar page is a good place to do this because a person who has read it will necessarily be convinced and therefore will be in the best position to take the next step.
The pillar page is therefore a must for any good website. But be careful, do not do anything! For it to give the desired effects, it is necessary to respect several rules during its design. Here they are!
1st objective of your pillar page: improve your SEO
Rule #1 – Choose your “Topic Cluster” theme carefully
First of all, let’s look at the question of the “Topic Cluster” or semantic cocoon. This element directly participates in the creation of a pillar page. You must therefore target the main theme of your page, the one that primarily concerns your field of activity. You will then add links to related topics on this same page. In this way, the theme and its different keywords are anchored on the same page and are no longer dispersed over several articles. This methodology for it to be perfectly successful involves various points to be respected:
- The pillar page must include different themes which will be developed in secondary articles. It is, therefore, necessary to choose a theme that is an emblematic subject and which groups together sub-categories. For example, your pillar page could have Growth Marketing as a theme. Within it will appear links to secondary subjects related to the theme (Inbound Marketing, Content Marketing, Social Media, etc.)
- Define your persona. By knowing who you are talking to, you will be able to define main and secondary themes relevant to your audience and your business. Pick topics that your audience wants to read that can drive more conversions for your business.
To help you build your pillar pages and the different subcategories, you can use the mind-mapping technique. This will help you to see more clearly and to structure your pages well.
Rule # 2 – Accurately Perform Your Keyword Research
The purpose of keyword research at this point is to find out what exact keywords will appear on the pillar page or topic groups. It is necessary to choose keywords that cover all aspects of the theme by first carrying out work on the semantic cocoon. This is significant work that will allow your pillar page (and secondary pages) to be well referenced. To create pillar pages, you must have the following:
- Your main keyword
- Related Keywords to Use as Sections: Each main keyword has multiple keywords that are strongly related to the main topic.
- Long-tail keywords: are keywords related to major keywords that have lower search volume but higher intent.
To find the best-performing terms, use an SEO tool or, better, call on an expert who will select the right queries based on search volumes on Google and others. Working on keywords is essential to attracting the audience you are targeting.
Rule # 3 – Structure your content for SEO
Creating a content plan is optional, but highly recommended. An outline will help you define your topics, select which pages on your site will link to as additional resources, decide what each section will cover and what keywords you will target. It will also allow you to produce well-balanced and compliant content from an SEO point of view.
Your content should also be structured according to SEO rules, this time with the more technical aspect in mind. Add titles (H1, H2, H3, etc.) in which you will indicate your keywords. Also, remember to carry out the internal linking, that is to say, the links to the secondary pages. You will need to remember to add the appropriate anchors for these links.
Don’t forget your images. To rank well, visuals should include relevant “alt” tags for images and design markup for videos and podcasts.
2nd Objective: demonstrate your expertise with a pillar page
Rule # 4 – Cover all aspects of the topic
As the pillar page aims to prove your expertise, you will need to take the greatest care in its editorial content. Before you start writing, you will need to do some thinking upstream. Start by determining what to include first, what is important to mention and what is optional, what fits on the pillar page, and what should be included on the secondary pages instead.
But keep in mind that a pillar page must be complete, so you should not stay in general; your content must bring significant added value to the reader. Writing a pillar page is therefore a clever mix between saying enough, but ensuring that the content remains digestible!
Rule # 5 – answer your audience’s questions
To help you know what to include in your editorial content, there’s nothing like putting yourself in your persona’s shoes! Try to think about what he needs to know, and what he expects to find by going to your page. When creating your personas, you will have identified recurring questions or issues. Your content must be able to answer these questions, this is how you can position yourself as an expert in the situation.
Also, put yourself within reach of your reader. You are an expert in your field and know all the details of your subject, but your potential client, is he really aware of this topic? Think about terms that may be obscure to the uninitiated and explain them. So you will have quality content that is easily understandable!
Rule # 6 – Write quality content
The actual copywriting is also a big aspect of building your pillar page. To look believable, you don’t just have to master your subject, you also have to do it in style! If your content is poorly written and riddled with spelling mistakes, there is no doubt that the effect will be disastrous on your target.
Your pillar page is a key part of your website, so don’t leave it to just anyone! Hire a seasoned copywriter to make sure the text is readable and sellable. Thus, you are also sure that your content is free from spelling or grammatical errors. In general, it is preferable to have the content written by a specialist in the topic, especially if it is quite specific.
Another solution is to write it yourself if you really want to be sure that the information is correct, even if it means having your text corrected and rewritten by a copywriter. But in any case, a pillar page is not written in a hurry: take enough time to write and correct the text.
Also, keep in mind that the pillar page must be sufficiently dense in content, it is not a blog post or a link directory. It must have a lot of content because it covers various topics in detail: it is usually 2000 to 4000 words long. It is, therefore, necessary to be both exhaustive and concise, but also precise in the drafting. A hell of a challenge!
Finally, it should be noted that your content must be evergreen: it is not obsolete and often updated over time.
Objective 3: convert with your pillar page
Rule #7 – Take care of the aesthetics of your page!
The substance is important, but the form is just as important. This is also what will allow you, in part, to convert! After you’ve designed the text, the next step is to add visuals to your pillar page to make it more interesting, easier to read, and also more selling. As the content is long, you are free to vary the pleasures and make reading easier!
Visuals can include:
Remember to take care of the layout (airy design, easy to read) to make your readers want to read on and go further, for example by then downloading your premium content.
Since we’re talking about conversion, also consider adding a prominent CTA, with a little catchphrase. A nice banner can also help you convert.
Rule # 8 – Optimize the user experience
The last thing to do before hitting the publish button is to review the layout. Thus, you are sure that the Internet user will have a pleasant experience while browsing your site. You may decide to format your pillar pages differently from other pages on the site to make them easily identifiable.
You need to make sure that:
- The webpage loads quickly and looks good on all devices.
- Your headings (H1-H6) for the different sections have a different format than the rest of the content.
- All images or videos need to be properly optimized (alt text, layout, image compression )
Rule # 9 – Monitor the performance of your pillar page
But once the pillar page goes live, the job is not done! You need to monitor its performance regularly. You have spent a lot of time (and possibly money) creating this page, so it’s important to know how well it performs in order to make the necessary optimizations, if necessary.
The most important KPIs to watch are:
- Pageviews: how many times your pillar page has been accessed.
- Bounce Rate: Percentage of people who reached the page and left without visiting a second page on your site. The lower the number, the better.
- Leads/conversions: how many leads were generated on the pillar page (subscription to your newsletter, download of premium content in exchange for an email address, etc.)
- Organic traffic: how many people came to the page through search engines.
- Ranking: under which keywords your page is ranked in Google and other search engines.
But don’t be too quick to draw conclusions. In fact, it may take a few months for your page to reach optimal rankings, so be patient.
Further than the medicare aspect, the coronavirus epidemic has already sent tremors, pervading numerous areas of life. The method of engaging with each other, our method of purchasing things, and indeed our pre-existing market structures have been affected.
In a couple of months, we are being forced to make more strides in consumer market development than in all recent times overall. How is this new direction going to take us? We can’t be completely certain, however, in 2021, such developments in digital development are quite likely to be important.
1. Computer systems with Quantum:-
Photonic machines were used to develop a drug and future drugs in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. How this differentiates a quantum computer? Rather than using classical bits, these machines use qubits. Like standard bits, subatomic particles can be “on” or “off” but then at the same moment they could also be “on” and “off.” The whole capacity is referred to as “intersecting” and gives a large range of alternatives. Their capacity to question, track, and analyze information comes mostly without restriction. We would be able to do the things whenever this software is implemented that we wouldn’t even have imagined just a few decades later.
2. “Technology without Head”:-
Companies can separate their front-end content (i.e. everything the user can find on the app or website) from the back-end (the internal processes of the app, also known jointly as the “server-side”) by using this kind of software architecture. This differentiation causes more customized shopping experiences to be developed.
86% of firms claim that the price of attracting their clients has risen. This implies that businesses have to maximize the ROI of one’s net change cost of acquiring clients but also have to concentrate on constructing a strategy to keep these customers and encourage their loyalty.
3. Platform areas for hybrid Platform areas for a hybrid:-
To build separate, adaptable, and expensive facilities, a hybrid ecosystem integrates and joins cloud service and personal cloud computing.
This so-called “hybrid cloud” is accountable for structuring applications, as well as developing a transportation system modified to the workforces of each corporation, assisting it to accomplish its marketing and financial objectives more efficiently than with the public or private cloud alone. We highly suggest businesses who have not yet started to optimize their market opportunities through digitization rely on digitalization advisory services.
4. Artificial Intelligence (AI):-
It was easier for organizations, corporations, and other organizations to work on finding easy fixes to the expansion of the coronavirus. The techniques that they normally transformed to were Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. A website marketing strategy where you can gain an audience by putting the user first.
Numerous individuals believe that Living is an innovation that is somewhat detached from the future, and it is already an essential part of everyday life. It is actively embroiled in many aspects of life that are prevalent, like purchasing or recreation.
Using it will begin to expand and broaden to a wide range of fields of our ordinary activities at a national scale.
5. Customers Data Platform (CDP):-
These platforms collect and examples based on true from individual customers, generating a central database formed by bundles of knowledge. These data packages focus on providing businesses with a good and cohesive strategy for developing how they communicate with their purchasers. Marketing influencers suggest establishing a strong inbound marketing strategy and backup links.
User information has become highly complicated and progressively essential for advertising & distribution tasks at the same time. Corporation digitalization includes the ability to handle all the experiences that people leave alone when using the Internet efficiently. That’s something that will not manage to be ignored by businesses willing to become a little more successful.
Staff members in several markets have demonstrated an increasing need for large labor stability in the past months. Even so, the latest advance in teleworking has come about as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic instead of out of such demands. For several firms, working remotely has unexpectedly become the most feasible alternative.
The evolutionary design and deployment of technology such as Zoom, Webex, or Microsoft Teams have made this happen. As for their usage and growth, these networks have advanced their digitalization approach very substantially. Software sales and networking expenditures have also increased to fill the void generated by social distancing.
This health problem has undeniably proven that workers operating remotely can easily execute their jobs, and such experience means many economic changes for enterprises.
Online confidentiality has become extremely relevant and especially important recently. Encrypting the whole computation method, not even just the data, is the concept underlying achieving proper protection, thereby offering extra levels of protection around private data.
Via the Secret Software Alliance, Google, Microsoft, and Alibaba have taken up the challenge of designing new standards and methodologies. It’s still in a state of growth, but we should continue to see a clear pattern regarding privacy changes in 2021 in reaction to the swell in sensitive data flowing across the Web.
The pandemic has put cybersecurity in the spotlight once more. Hackers have taken advantage of the circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic to expand their targeting campaigns against companies all around the world.
From January to April 2020 alone, banks suffered an increase in attacks of 238% and cloud servers of 600%. With fewer employees working on-premises, strengthening their networks and updating cybersecurity protocols has become a must for companies.
Software providers must build up their efforts to make their products more secure and able to cope to a greater extent with the escalation of threats that will most likely carry on next year.
9. Validation of 5G:-
We’ve learned a lot about both the advantages of 5G, however, some of the advantages, including such secure access and improved capacity, are becoming very relevant because teleworking and digital communication are becoming a pillar of our working career. Companies can not continue to be off-grid view and 5G was seen as a crucial factor for ensuring excellent access shortly.
10. Hybrid appliances:-.
The new trend is now to be 24/7 linked. Clients are opting for lighter, faster, and more mobile applications that have a greater degree of accessibility than their western generations. The pattern is to use lightweight gadgets such as the Microsoft Surface Duo or the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 rather than holding multiple devices. It can act similarly to tablets and phones and can be folded and unfolded as per your specifications. Are they going to launch a digital transition inside your organization?
Are you a vendor of IT solutions for businesses and you have questions about the content of your communication? This article is made for you. Developing a good content strategy can be a real asset in helping you achieve your business goals. For this, it is necessary to understand the specificities of your communication and to know what are the best practices to implement. This is what we will see in this article.
Next, we will determine why the bounce rate is important to help you analyze the quality of your content strategy and the performance of your website.
Why a content strategy?
Communicating regularly with your customers and prospects is good. Providing them with quality content that will meet their expectations and needs is better. This is why setting up a content strategy is important. First of all, you must understand the reason, the purpose behind your content strategy. The latter can help you achieve various essential objectives for your business, such as:
- Take care of your brand image,
- Increase your notoriety,
- Attract qualified traffic to your web platforms,
- Increase your sales.
Once you have clearly defined the why, you need to think about the how. To do this, you must ask yourself various questions, in order to determine which media to use, what type of content to write, what tone to use or how often to distribute your content.
You see, developing a content strategy takes some thought. But, well thought out, it can be a great relationship marketing tool. Indeed, it allows you to create a commitment to your brand but also to better understand your targets and their interests.
How to define your content strategy for SaaS?
Before addressing the question of the content strategy itself, a small clarification is in order. As a vendor of IT solutions for businesses, the target of your communication is specific: you are not targeting the average consumer but many other businesses. In professional jargon, we speak of BtoB (Business to Business) communication. Obviously, this will have an impact on the way you communicate and therefore on your content. Knowing what types of businesses you are talking to is essential to writing content that they are likely to like and interest them.
A logic-based purchasing process
The B2B buying process is based more on logic than on emotion. This will inevitably have consequences for the content of your message:
- As a vendor of business IT solutions, your primary focus should be on the logic of your product . Your message should focus on the many benefits that your customers could experience if they owned your product. Would they make money? Time ? Human resources ? Or even all of them at the same time? All this information must be found in your communication.
- You must also be very precise in the explanations you give about your IT solution: do not hesitate to provide your target with in-depth analyzes, statistics, documented and credible proof of its effectiveness. All the features that make your IT solution great should be detailed as clearly as possible.
Expertise, know-how, and skills are your keywords
The fundamental mission of content strategy, whatever the business objective you have set for yourself, is to showcase your expertise in your industry. Let’s take an example: if you are a vendor of computer solutions for car dealerships, your primary objective is to position yourself as an expert in the automotive sector, in order to demonstrate that you have the know-how and skills necessary to may your product be the solution your customers have been waiting for.
Use the lingo of your industry
To demonstrate your expertise, do not hesitate to use technical and direct language . Of course, your words should be understandable to as many people as possible, but remember that your target is from the same industry as you. She therefore knows exactly what you are talking to her about and what the right terms to use. We have to strike a balance between professional jargon and popularization . So you can write interesting content that doesn’t risk annoying people by being too technical.
Which distribution channels should you favor? Since you are reaching out to other businesses, you need to be present where they are. This means that traditional broadcast channels may be less relevant than others. Why ? Simply because your target audience is more limited. There is therefore no point in being on mass distribution channels if there are other more suitable channels where your target is located . For social media, for example: some of them lend themselves much better to a BtoB relationship, like LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube, Slideshare.
The formats of an effective content strategy
There are different very interesting formats for BtoB communication. The most interesting is probably the blog . You can distribute many different types of content there: news about your business, short articles on a hot topic related to your industry, longer articles in which you provide different tips, etc. Blogging requires a real investment, both in time and money, however, as you need to feed it regularly.
Many other formats are available to you. For example, e-books and white papers, viral infographics, studies, user guides … Each of them has advantages and to know which one to choose, you must base yourself on your goals.
Finding the right keywords for good SEO
Now let’s talk about a much more technical aspect of your content strategy: the natural referencing of your texts, articles and others. Interesting content inevitably attracts the attention of the target audience. But above all, it must be accessible. People who search for a topic related to you should easily find you in search engines . For this, it is necessary to optimize your SEO . How? ‘Or’ What ? First of all, you need to perform keyword analysis the most used by your target (know what terms they use when performing a search). These keywords must be found in your text. But be careful, not just anywhere! They should mostly be in your titles and meta descriptions.
Analyze your bounce rate to adapt your content strategy
A valuable but difficult to understand indicator, the bounce rate, in English, must be taken into account in any web strategy. It gives an indication of the behavior of visitors to your site and will be useful to you in determining the relevance of the content of your web pages.
What is a bounce rate?
The bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who see only one page of your site when they visit it.
This rate varies greatly depending on the nature of your site : blog, e-commerce site or showcase site … A high bounce rate means that the majority of your visitors immediately leave your site after consulting the page through which they entered. They therefore only visit one page of your site. If it is low, on the other hand, it means that Internet users are visiting other pages of your site after having landed on the home page or the “landing page”. This, also called a “landing page”, is the page that users are referred to after clicking a link.
How does the bounce rate work?
We consider that the visitor “bounces” in several cases:
- When it is on your page and it closes its browser, its tab or its window directly;
- When the Internet user views the content of your page and clicks directly on an external link located on it;
- When the visitor is on your page but directly enters a new web address;
- When he is on the landing page and clicks directly on “back” without performing any action.
To calculate its bounce rate, divide the number of bounces by the total number of visits over a given period of time. A bounce rate of 50% therefore means that one in two visitors consults only one page (the one where the visitor arrives). Google Analytics allows you to measure your bounce rate from several angles . Based on its various reports, it can calculate your overall bounce rate for your site, for each group of channels, for each source / medium combination, and finally, for individual pages.
What is the ideal bounce rate?
There are no specific numbers for the best bounce rate to have since it differs depending on the type of site you own.
For example, for online stores , it is preferable that this is low since the goal is for your visitors to consult your articles, request a quote and therefore go from page to page. If you find that your bounce rate is high, that is a bad sign. This will surely mean that your visitor did not find what they were looking for when they arrived on your site.
On the contrary, for informative sites , it is normal to have a high bounce rate . Indeed, the people who consult these sites need to seek information. Once it is found, they leave.
In your case, your goal being to sell IT solutions to businesses, your bounce rate must be low because your prospects must consult your offers and take action. It is therefore necessary to check your bounce rate and reduce it, in order to capture the attention and arouse the interest of your visitors.
Causes of a high bounce rate
One of the main causes of a high bounce rate is content that is poorly suited to your target audience. If your site and your articles are optimized for keywords that are too general , people looking for something specific will be disappointed to find that your site does not meet their needs. As a result, they will immediately leave the page, without going any further.
But other elements also influence the bounce rate:
- The page load time is too long: if your pages are not loaded quickly, users will lose patience and will leave your site for a faster one.
- Your page contains too many external links: if you redirect your Internet users to other pages outside your site, they will not visit others.
- The design and ergonomics are unsuitable: a design that is too overloaded (too many colors, menus, pop-ups, ads, etc.), old-fashioned, inadequate, or lacking in incentive can deter users from continuing to browse.
There are many sources that a high bounce rate can come from, so it’s important to pay attention to these things when building your website.
How to reduce your bounce rate?
It is essential that the content of your website is designed to best answer the questions that your target audience is asking. This is how you will position yourself as an expert in your field and gain the confidence of companies to purchase your IT solutions.
- Write interesting content for your visitors : your site must interest your visitors so that they do not leave. The more interesting information people find, the more likely they are to navigate to other pages on your website.
- Choose “long tail ” keywords for your SEO : as seen above, overly general keywords can lead to a high bounce rate. It is better to focus on more specific keywords. These are more likely to correspond to the request of the Internet user when carrying out his research.
But even very interesting content must be easily accessible and make people want to read it. You should therefore not neglect the optimization of the other elements that come into play in your bounce rate:
- Limit the loading time of your site’s pages : no one likes to wait. The loading time that exceeds three seconds discourages Internet users and they will therefore turn around, without even having consulted your site.
- Think about the design : the design of a website is very important. An elegant and sober design will make your visitor want to stay. Also remember to optimize your layout on all the devices used (smartphones, tablets, computers).
- Add internal links : this is a good way to encourage your visitors to continue browsing your site. You can therefore insert links in your articles. These can lead internet users to similar articles, contact forms, etc. Likewise, call-to-action is also a good way to redirect your visitors to other pages on your site. Remember to make them attractive for visitors to click on.
- Do not insert too many external links : links attract visitors and encourage them to click on them and therefore leave your site. Of course you can insert some but always make sure to schedule them to open in a new tab so that they don’t really leave your site.
Bounce rate and SEO
The bounce rate affects the SEO of your website. It enables the collection of qualitative and quantitative information. Indeed, it indicates the value of a site in the eyes of visitors, and therefore informs about the quality and relevance of a website, in terms of its content but also of the user experience. This value is taken up by Google, which affects its positioning in search engines. It is therefore necessary to improve its bounce rate to also improve its positioning . The lower it is, the more it is considered interesting by Internet users and therefore by Google.
Let’s sum it all up
As a vendor of IT solutions for businesses, your target audience is a bit special: you don’t address yourself to Mr. and Mrs. Everybody but to other businesses. This will inevitably impact your content strategy. After defining your goals, delivery channels, and formats, you need to write content that touts your product characteristics by providing accurate information. Everything must demonstrate your expertise in a technical and direct language. It is also important to pay attention to your SEO so that your texts can easily be found by your audience.
Also, remember to check the bounce rate of your website because it gives you valuable information on the behavior of your visitors when they visit your site. Therefore, it is also a good indication of the quality of your content strategy. If this bounce rate is too high, it means that companies looking for IT solutions are not finding enough satisfaction on your website. In this case, you will have to adapt your method to hope to increase your conversions. Remember that the bounce rate also has an influence on the SEO of your site, so you have to take that into account.

An XML is an Extensible Mark-up Language acronym, XML Sitemap is a data structure used to define all Hyperlinks on a webpage. It can contain metadata or internal links on each Href, with descriptions about how relevant they are when they were previously modified, and whether any other variants of the Hyperlink are generated in other languages. To be able to instantly locate its most relevant pages and recognize when they are recently revised, every single website requires Searching. All these are meant to benefit the search engines to navigate your site more effectively.
Encoding is the primary factor you should build and apply your XML sitemap. Even without one, web browsers can still potentially find your sites, including a sitemap renders it so much simpler for them. You may have euthanized sections that are unused, or difficult to obtain, with internal ties. When you have recently introduced pages or built up an entirely new website that doesn’t have a lot of or any, leads to it yet, your wireframe is particularly relevant.
Drag down to know the importance of inserting XML sitemap in a website
Unfortunately, the sitemap is considered to be one of the most ignorant and misunderstood factors of SEO company and content marketing tactics. Below are some points describing the importance of XML sitemap:
Increases the strength of backlinks:
Unlike HTML, the XML sitemap is a mark-up language used by the SEOs/bots. An XML sitemap is a database of links that you suggest to navigate, which is not always every section of your site.
A search server appears at your homepage with an allocation for how many links it can crawl. The XML sitemap demonstrates that you perceive the Links contained to be more essential than those that are not restricted but are not in the sitemap. This way your Meta tags and backlinks get highlighted and the possibility of your site being targeted by search engines increases up to some extent.
Enhances the deep architecture of the website:
Many of you must have visited some of the websites which are linked to a few more other sites and contain a lot of pages based on their categories. This is where XML site-mapping comes into power. A well-organized sitemap is a framework for a professional website, but only if it begins with a strong infrastructure of data. Without the sitemap, there is no resolute declaration of intent on the interface design. Developers can forget about why they design. When innovative imagination takes over, the desires of the user can be allocated. You have a series of exquisite sites that are disorganized, unappealing to the target audience, and hard to transform before you realize it. While it is a smart option to get a sitemap of some kind, whether or not you have created a database structure, many people avoid this because they think it will take too long. A sitemap can be as simplistic as a scribbled illustration of the suggested sites and how they will be linked. Even so, if you want to make things easier for yourself, you deserve it to yourself to develop an XML sitemap. An interactive sitemap is not only good to spread with others, you can also understand what’s happening around you.
Don’t let the dead links affect the content:
In contexts of a tarnished reputation, a website that is loaded with broken links suffers greatly. The webpage will be seen as inappropriate and many may even think that it is a disreputable procedure. The same goes for the site owner, who may be seen as a person with doubtful credibility. These detrimental impacts on a company’s image alone can have very adverse consequences. And we do not even consider the many tourists who are not going to visit the site anymore because the faulty connections have switched them off. Luckily, businesses that realize that searching for broken links can be a painstaking task and have developed various techniques to make this work easier to do in minimal time. A separate script is designed by XML-sitemap that not only generates meta tags but also checks for broken links on a website and then indicates site operators what connections they are and to which sites the links are connected.
XML: key-factor of SEO:
Getting started with the new online business is not a big deal, maintaining it with delicacy is. In this era of rising competition, your content and service need to be heard by your targeted audience to achieve the top ranks in Google search results. Similarly, Search engines also work on visitor’s experience, feedback and are intended to provide them with honest and relevant information that is directly related to your site’s user interface. Website will only get credit if SEO has crawled through every section of it. This is where the XML sitemap shows its powers, it provides the search engines with the list of links of every section or crucial info. Your website contains so that users can make most of it.
Boon for newly established business sites:

There’s a decent possibility you could proceed with a certain form of sitemap if you’re developing a new site. While you can obviously make a prototype without providing a dashboard first, doing so is not a smart option. Site mapping will make the user’s interaction dramatically better. If building the best experience possible for a visitor is one of your priorities, beginning with a visual elements sitemap is a fantastic strategy. Prepping for the understanding of the consumer requires an innate tendency. You, therefore, need to know what links you have, how they are connected, the type of information you are using, and any other features that your visitors may discover. You also have to be ready to organize the path that you intend consumers to download and also foresee other alternative avenues.
Contains versatile tags:
XML sitemap contains a variety of tags for different tasks. Each data must be individually mentioned in a specific document named the Sitemap index file when you use several Sitemap files for one site. The tag <sitemap index> is used for this purpose. The <changefreq> tag will assist SEO to understand the reality of frequency and <priority> tags which signify the importance of specific files in the site, and search engine crawlers will not disregard them. If your website is likely to be changed and updated on a regular basis, the unique tag will assist your content to encourage search engines to announce them as regularly updated websites.
Boost up the key-phrases of the content:
It is well known that “content” is the king factor for SEO marketing services and “keywords” are the accessories that enhance the content of an online business company. And inserting hyperlinks or backlinks or XML sitemaps in your keywords will be the cherry on the top. Sitemaps boost the power of keywords which is directly related to search engine optimization.

Ebook content marketing is the perfect opportunity to expand on different facets of your business or topics in your industry that you think people will benefit from understanding. So don’t be afraid to come up with your company’s doctrine. By doing so, your eBook will set new levels for greatness and also act as a compass for you and the businesses in your niche.
2. In-Depth Details
You can easily put 10-second videos and short social posts because you have got the place, but when it comes to explaining a complicated topic or giving in-depth information, ebooks are the perfect format.
People who download your ebook are those who already have interest in your service offerings or products; so if you can tell a better story than the competition and provide some inner details, you can increase your odds of winning over prospective clients.
Ebooks contain several pages of valuable information about a specific skill or concept. The more value you can provide, the more readers will associate your brand with the wealth of content they’ve absorbed.
3. Establish Authority
Would you like to be an authority in your field? You must choose a subject/profession you care more about. By demonstrating your industry knowledge, you represent your brand as a trusted source for solving future dilemmas. By writing and producing an amazing eBook, you can become an authority on the topic you’ve written about. If you’ve taken the time to research and write an eBook, you have become a voice for your topic and/or industry. If you create multiple eBooks and also have a library of online products, you will be considered as knowing what you’re talking about.
4. Build Trust
The accuracy of the information in your ebook is very important, but so is the language with which you convey your message.
By providing real-life examples and offering approachable explanations, you develop a positive rapport with readers, maintaining their trust and furnishing long-term relationships with prospective clients. By so doing, they will become more informed on your services and products and develop a sense of trustworthiness.
5. Business Leads
When you’re offering something as valuable as an ebook, you can also ask for something in return. Often we see that most ebooks are gated, i.e, they require readers to supply their name and email address before downloading.
While this kind of requirement could deter prospective clients from accessing your content, the most qualified leads are actively searching for the information that your ebook offers, and hence, they would even like to receive similar content in the future.

Ebooks contain lots of information, providing you with the chance to develop a bank of content for repurposing. Later on, when you’re looking out for resources to keep your content flowing, you’ll find everything you need right at your fingertips. 7. Increase Traffic
Offering free ebooks on digital marketing platforms that cover all the hot topics and major concerns within your industry can really gain traffic to your site. Also, including links to corresponding landing pages on your site so that readers can gain more insights about your brand and inquire about your services will help to gain visitors on your website.
8. Company Manifesto
Every brand has its own mantra, whether it is publicly stated or not.
Your ebook can set the tone for your brand’s voice and values, reaching consumers who relate to and support your mission statement. This will help your loyal customers to relate more easily and stick with it forever.
With an eBook, you have the potential to reach a huge number of potential customers who may have come across your eBook through some online search or through reviews and feedback or even through word of mouth.
Of course, for this, you must put as much thought into marketing as you much to actually create the eBook. But with this effort, the increase in exposure will definitely lead to new customers and new opportunities for you and your business.
Even revenue may not be your sole reason for creating an eBook, but it’s definitely a benefit if you can grab some money from your efforts. When downloaded in huge number, it can generate huge revenues.

If you are running a blog, I am sure you must have come across the question, how often should I post a blog? Well, it depends on the scale your business operates. Small businesses write anything between one to four blogs per week, whereas big companies stretch it to once every day or even several times a day. But there are only so many topics you can write about. How do you come up with new blog ideas every day? I am here to share my tips on how to generate content ideas with topic research. I am also going to share 7 lesser-known ways to generate content ideas to rank higher on Google. So, keep reading!
Generate Content Ideas
Let us start with general tips and tricks on website content ideas for beginners.
- Create a list of topics beforehand
When you sit down to write a blog, you should not be wasting time thinking about what to write about. So, it’s better if you create a bunch of topics beforehand. If you aim to publish 3 blogs a week, I would suggest you dedicate 4-5 hours a week to research and write down 6-7 strong topics to write about. This way you will be having options to write about and you won’t be wasting time deciding the topic at the time of writing.
- Keep a tab on your competitors
Another great way of generating content ideas is to look at what your competitor is blogging about. Find a topic that your competitor has written about and then research over that topic. Find out what it is missing and how it can be made better. Then write, and write a much more detailed and informative blog than your competitor on a topic originally your competitor wrote about.
- Make use of Google suggestions
Have a general idea on your mind? Search it on Google. When you type in a term on Google, it shows you a list of similar searches. What it means is that when people look for your search term they are even interested in these terms. At the end of a search engine results page, there is another list of related searches. You can be sure that these topics are SEO friendly, as you have shortlisted them directly through Google.
- Topic Generating Platforms
There is a lot of content idea generator tool on the internet that can help you when you are stuck. I am sure you must have heard of BuzzSumo and Ahrefs Content Explorer. All you need to do is put in a bunch of keywords are they will come up with a lot of potential ideas for a blog.
- News and recent events
When I say you can use the news to generate topic ideas, I don’t mean write a blog on the most trending news. Writing about everything trending on the news won’t be beneficial to your business. What I mean is for you to write about trending news in your industry. For example, the industry I am related to is Digital Marketing, a hot topic in Digital Marketing right now is Google algorithm update, so I might consider writing a blog around Google algorithm.
P.S. – I will be writing a blog about Google algorithm update. Stay tuned! Subscribe to our newsletter to get an update about our latest postings.
Must explore these effective methods to generate high volume ideas on any topic that can help you rank on Google
Well, listed above were some general tips on how to curate content. Now, as promised I am going to share 7 lesser-known ways to generate content ideas that can help you rank higher on Google. So here you are:
- Use Google Images
Why am I so focused on using Google? Because that’s where you want to rank. Last time I told you to use Google suggest and the ‘related to’ section of Google’s SERP. But this technique is very commonly used for content ideas and keyword ideas. What I am going to share here is using Google Images.
Head on to Google images, and write a broad term related to your niche. This way Google will suggest a lot of tags containing a group of images. Just use these tags and combine them to form a topic worth writing about
2. Write on new topics
Another way to find topics that can help you rank on Google is by writing something new.
By writing something new I mean writing on a topic that isn’t on the surface yet. These “new” topics won’t be competitive and hence can help you rank higher on Google.
You can use a free tool like ubersuggest which scans the internet for topics that are on the rise of getting popular.
3. Know from the community and your audience
Go through the comments on your blogs and interact with your audience. Let them tell you what they want to read about. Similarly, you can use Quora or other question-answer platforms to know what the general audience is looking for. And then accordingly you can write a detailed blog about a topic people want to read about.
4. Getting ideas from YouTube
When a person wants to know about something, he/she either read a blog about it or watches a YouTube video on the topic. So why not generate ideas from YouTube?
All you need to do is head over to YouTube, search for a broad term on your niche and you will see hundreds of videos. Choose the topic that is ranking on top and write about that topic.
5. Update and repost old content
When you absolutely can’t come up with anything new to write, just go through your old content. Choose content that worked well for you in the past, research that topic, and update it accordingly. Then repost it. Since this content worked for you in the past, it should work for you again.
6. Make use of Pinterest
Just like Google Suggest, Pinterest also has a suggested search feature. But with Pinterest, you will get a different set of suggestions than Google. What’s more impressive about using Pinterest for content ideas is that Pinterest isn’t very common to everyone. It is an untapped source of keywords and content ideas.
7. Using Job portals
Yes, you heard right. You can use job portals to generate content ideas. Go through the job descriptions in your niche and look for keywords. Let’s say your niche is Data Analysis, go to various job portals and go through the job description of Data Analysis jobs. Let’s say you come across keywords like Python. You can write topics around this keyword and so on.
Every writer/blogger has difficulty writing from time to time, but this should not stop you from generating new content ideas. Take advantage of the tools and resources I listed above. Implement these tips and let me know in the comment how did it work for you.
