HubSpot’s Fall ’26 Spotlight landed on September 16, headlined by a redesigned HubSpot Breeze Assistant that can now assign AI agents to finish work instead of just answering questions. This is for anyone running marketing or sales through HubSpot who wants to know what actually changed before believing HubSpot’s own “3x better outcomes” framing.

This is for anyone running marketing or sales through HubSpot who wants to know what actually changed before believing HubSpot’s own “3x better outcomes” framing.
HubSpot published this in its own company-news post on September 16, 2026, at Unbound, HubSpot’s renamed annual conference (formerly Inbound) in Boston. SiliconANGLE covered it the same day.
- What the new Breeze Assistant actually does differently
- What “Growth Context” and Smart CRM mean for daily CRM upkeep
- What Marketing Studio changes about campaign planning
- Why ChatGPT Ads and Microsoft Advertising now plug directly into HubSpot
- What’s real today versus still rolling out

What Did HubSpot Actually Announce at Unbound?
HubSpot’s Fall ’26 Spotlight is what the company calls its most foundational product release: a redesigned Breeze Assistant, a self-updating Smart CRM, a new Marketing Studio, an upgraded Prospecting Agent, a Revenue Hub, a Mobile Notetaker, and first-time CRM integrations with ChatGPT Ads and Microsoft Advertising, all running on a shared data layer HubSpot calls Growth Context.
What Does the New HubSpot Breeze Assistant Do Differently?
The redesigned HubSpot Breeze Assistant moves past answering questions or drafting text. A marketer describes an outcome in plain language, and Breeze assigns specialized AI agents to handle pieces of that work, drafting a campaign brief, pulling a segment, or scheduling a follow-up, rather than generating one document and stopping.
Duncan Lennox, HubSpot’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, put the reasoning plainly: “We hear from customers every day that they don’t want to think about which AI tools to use, they just want outcomes.” HubSpot says Breeze Assistant customers generate 2.2x more leads, its own figure, not independently audited.
Smart CRM and Growth Context: The Data Layer Underneath Everything
Growth Context is the real change here: it feeds every other feature in this release, a dynamic layer combining company, employee, and customer data. It’s what makes the new Smart CRM “touchless,” automatically capturing and syncing calls, emails, and meetings with no manual data entry. A new Context Home dashboard scores how complete that data is.
Most CRMs are only as good as what a rep bothers to log. This is HubSpot’s attempt to remove that dependency entirely.
Marketing Studio: AI Recommendations Plus the Tools to Act on Them
Marketing Studio combines performance data with AI recommendations and the execution tools to act on them in the same place, flagging underperforming segments, missed follow-ups, and visibility gaps. HubSpot says early customers using it created 81% more campaigns on average, its own number, not yet independently confirmed.
HubSpot Now Plugs Directly Into ChatGPT Ads and Microsoft Advertising
HubSpot announced its first CRM integration with ChatGPT Ads: leads from ChatGPT-driven research now enroll directly into HubSpot workflows and get measured alongside every other channel, the same ChatGPT Ads business Techfee covered last month. An expanded Microsoft Advertising integration also consolidates performance across Bing, Copilot, MSN, and Outlook, tying ad activity directly to pipeline and revenue data in the CRM, the same AI Max rollout Techfee covered in August.
Is Any of This Actually Available Right Now?
Some of it clearly is, some of it is still rolling out and neither HubSpot’s own post nor the independent coverage discloses detailed pricing or tier availability for the new capabilities. The clearest working example given is Workleap, a Canadian software company that used the new Revenue Hub to go from quote to signature in under 15 minutes.
The updated Prospecting Agent (40+ buying signals, automatic outreach prep) and the Mobile Notetaker (real-time meeting transcription) round out the release. Check your own HubSpot account for access rather than assuming everything above is live on every plan.
Where This Fits the Bigger Pattern
HubSpot isn’t shipping this in isolation. Unbound also featured an Anthropic keynote and a “Builder Bar” for building AI connectors via MCP, the same protocol behind Klaviyo’s headless platform push and KNOREX’s KAI Assist launch. Google Ads has been shipping its own version of this same direction all year. The pattern is the story, not any single feature. Every major marketing platform is racing to let an outside AI agent run more of the actual work.
If you’d rather have someone track releases like this and tell you plainly which ones are worth switching workflows over, here’s how I work with clients.
FAQ

What does the new HubSpot Breeze Assistant actually do?

HubSpot says customers using it generate 2.2x more leads, a company-reported figure.
Is HubSpot’s new Smart CRM available now?

My Take
My honest first read: Growth Context is the real story here, not Breeze Assistant’s redesign, since a touchless CRM that actually stays accurate solves a problem every HubSpot user already has. The ChatGPT Ads and Microsoft Advertising integrations are what I’d test first once they’re live on my account, since closing the loop between ad spend and CRM pipeline data is worth automating. I haven’t touched any of this hands-on yet, so treat this as a first read, not a verdict.
